No ice rink is confirmed in Hammersmith and Fulham for 2026. Glide at Battersea opens 6 Nov, Somerset House 11 Nov, Hyde Park from 19 Nov at £12.65.

There is no Christmas ice rink confirmed in Hammersmith and Fulham for 2026. The nearest outdoor rink is Glide at Battersea Power Station, just across Chelsea Bridge, which opens on Friday 6 November and runs to Sunday 3 January 2027. Somerset House opens on 11 November and Hyde Park Winter Wonderland’s rink on 19 November.

The quick answer

For skating near Fulham this winter, book Glide at Battersea Power Station, 6 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, with three linked rinks and a 200-metre riverside skate trail. Somerset House runs 11 November to 10 January from £13 an adult, and the rink at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland runs 19 November to 3 January from £12.65 off-peak. Westfield London in White City had a rink in 2023 and 2024, but it has published nothing for 2026.

Glide at Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station’s event page gives the dates as Friday 6 November 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027. Glide’s own site says there are three interconnecting rinks and a 200-metre skate trail along the Thames, with a 30ft Christmas tree in the middle. Penguin skate aids are available for small children.

Two options are worth knowing about if you have time on a weekday:

  • Extended Skate: weekday sessions throughout November give you 3 hours 45 minutes on the ice for the price of a normal session, Glide says.
  • Accessible Skate: selected weekday sessions with fewer skaters, quieter music and lower lighting.

Students get a free drink with a student ticket, Monday to Thursday until 10 December, if they bring student ID. Glide also sells season passes for unlimited weekday and weekend skating.

Prices: Glide shows prices only inside its booking calendar once you pick a session, and we could not read them from its published pages. The ticket types are adult (13 and over), child, family, student, group, wheelchair user and essential companion.

Rules from Glide’s 2026 terms: a child ticket covers ages 3 to 12, and under-13s must be with someone aged 16 or over, on the ice as well. Anyone aged 13 to 15 needs a responsible person with them at the event too. Glide advises arriving 40 minutes before your session, and late arrivals may lose time.

Getting there from Fulham: the rink is in front of the Power Station by the river, Circus Road West, SW8 5BN. Glide’s travel page suggests Sloane Square, 12 minutes’ walk via Ranelagh Gardens and Chelsea Bridge, or the 452 or 137 bus over the bridge. Sloane Square is on the District line, so from Fulham Broadway or Parsons Green it is one train. Battersea Power Station also has its own Northern line station.

Skate at Somerset House

Somerset House’s skate page lists 11 November 2026 to 10 January 2027 in the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court. Adult tickets are £13 to £28.50 and children’s £11 to £15, plus a £1.50 fee on each ticket.

Dated extras already listed:

  • Skate Lates music nights from Thursday 12 November, sessions from 8pm.
  • Extended Skate Sessions of 90 minutes on Wednesday 11, Tuesday 17 and Monday 23 November.
  • A K-pop Party with the Korean Cultural Centre UK on Monday 23 November, from 7pm.

It runs a week longer than the others, into the second weekend of January.

Hyde Park Winter Wonderland ice rink

Winter Wonderland runs 19 November 2026 to 3 January 2027, and its ice rink page lists sessions from 10am to 9pm. Each session lasts 45 minutes, and you are asked to arrive 20 minutes early. Skaters must be 3 or over, and children aged 3 to 12 need an adult aged 18 or over with them.

Advance prices apply until 23:59 the day before your visit. Winter Wonderland also has its own entry ticket, worth up to £9.50 a person, which its home page says is free when you spend more than £25 in one online booking. Add that to the cost if you are only going to skate.

What about Westfield London?

Westfield London in White City ran a Christmas rink in 2023 and 2024. For 2026 we found nothing: Westfield’s old rink page now returns “page not found”, and Westfield has announced no rink. If one is announced we will add it here, because it would be the only rink inside the borough.

The council’s own Christmas events this year are the Hammersmith Winter Festival on 14 November and the North End Road Christmas market on 12 December; neither has ice skating.

Travel and parking

All three rinks are best reached by Tube. Weekend engineering work can close parts of the District and Piccadilly lines, so check Fulham roadworks and travel before a weekend trip. If you are driving to a Tube station, parking in Fulham explains which zones still charge on Sundays.
