Fulham's Christmas market returns to North End Road on Saturday 12 December 2026, 10am to 4pm, free entry. Last year brought 120 stalls. What is confirmed so far.
Fulham’s Christmas market is on Saturday 12 December 2026, 10am to 4pm, along North End Road. The date and times are from Hammersmith and Fulham Council’s own events calendar, checked on 5 September 2026. Entry is free.
This is the second of the council’s two Christmas markets. The first is the Hammersmith Winter Festival on Saturday 14 November.
What the council has confirmed
As of 5 September 2026 the calendar entry gives the date, the 10.00am to 4.00pm window and the location, and describes it only as: “North End Road’s Christmas Market is back by popular demand and will offer a fantastic family day out for all ages.” Nothing else about 2026 had been published.
Note the date has moved. The 2025 market was on Saturday 6 December; 2026 is a week later, on the 12th. If you are working from last year’s memory, you are a week early.
What it was like last year
The council’s preview of the 2025 market, published on 20 November 2025, is the best guide to what to expect. It is last year’s detail, not a promise about this year.
In 2025 the market ran along the historic market street with more than 120 stalls from independent traders and local creatives, 10am to 4pm. There was street food from around the world, mulled wine, mince pies and fresh produce. Live music came from Elvis tribute act DaniElviS, multi-instrumentalist Sarah Alba, singer Chris Harvey, and local resident DJs Boots and Piper. Street performers included Bouncy Elves and Winterling and the Christmas Queen, and Santa visited.
Named traders in 2025 included Cooked By Tony for pizza, Nilly’s Philly Cheesesteak, and Comfort Kitchen for jollof rice, with gifts from Aliand Jewellery, Bead Sew Crafty and Alexlina Productions.
Still to be announced for 2026, and expected in late November on last year’s timing: the stall count, the trader list, the music line-up, whether Santa is booked, and the exact extent of the road closure. We will update this page when the council publishes its preview.
The Fulham Palace date trap
If you are searching for Fulham Palace’s Christmas fair, read this before you plan around it.
Fulham Palace’s /christmas/ landing page currently advertises a Christmas fair at
twilight on “Friday 21 November” and the main fair on “Saturday 22 and Sunday 23
November”, without a year. Those weekdays are 2025’s, not 2026’s. In 2026, 21
November is a Saturday. The Palace’s own event page for the fair confirms it: it is
headed “This event has ended” and dated Saturday 22 November 2025 to Sunday 23
November 2025, £5 adults and £3 children, tickets on the door.
So the Palace’s 2026 Christmas fair dates have not been published. What has been confirmed at Fulham Palace is Santa’s Winter Garden, running 20 November to 23 December 2026 in the walled gardens, operated by Intuitive Festive Events rather than by the Palace. Fulham Palace Trust states it cannot answer ticketing or access questions about it.
Getting there and parking
North End Road runs between Fulham Broadway and West Kensington. The nearest tube is Fulham Broadway on the District line, with West Kensington and West Brompton also in walking range of the northern end. All are Zone 2.
Parking on the day is the constraint, because a market closure takes out the kerbside along the trading stretch. Check parking in Fulham before you set off: rates are emissions-banded from £2.80 to £7.00 an hour with a £1 an hour diesel surcharge, and the cheapest space in the borough by a distance is Coomer Place “Stop and Shop” at 40p an hour, two hours maximum.
The closure extent and anything else on the network that day will appear in the council’s weekly Network Activity Bulletin. See Fulham roadworks and travel.
